I am a 50-year-old DanceMom who twins with my 8-year-old daughter most days and loves hosting elaborate cosplay parties (with the invaluable support of my husband and some pretty great friends).

I am a SoCal native raised in Colorado. Then California (with Mom). Then Colorado (with Dad). Then California. Then Colorado. Before moving back to California before finally settling back in Colorado where I'm raising my daughter and her Daddy-er, with her Daddy. 

I am a somewhat accomplished singer (jazz, country, show tunes and classical were my thing).

I want to transform my formal dining room into a pseudo wine cellar.

I love all things beauty: nature, home decor (I'm especially fond of Modern Farmhouse elements atm), and fashion.

I am an avid DIYer.

I'm an advocate for animal welfare and a Rescue Mom to dogs, cats, bees and even spiders. But I hate mosquitoes.

​

Except for mosquitoes (and other non-beneficial insects), I endeavor to show love to all living things (but despite my best efforts, plants do not thrive under my care).

I can never turn down pizza, Chipotle's tortilla chips (that lime and salt tho!), chocolate, Starbucks' sous vide egg white bites or the lavender chai at Nordstrom's. I've gained eight pounds over the last couple of months. Go figure.

I am a salsa snob.

Target is my kryptonite. My home is full of tragic Target impulse buys.

The Notebook is one of my favorite movies. As is The Princess Bride, Life is Beautiful, Marvel's entire Avenger series and Gone With the Wind. (What can I say? I'm multi-dimensional.)
